Sedan – Freddy Albert Storer, age 77 of Offerle, Kansas (former Sedan resident)  passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Freddy was born on December 24, 1941 in Sedan, Kansas to Rex Storer and Ruth M. (Littrell) Storer.   He made his home in Sedan graduating from Sedan High School in the Class of 1959.  After high school he graduated from a technical school in Wichita.

Freddy lived in Offerle, Kansas since the early 1990’s.  He worked for AT&T as a communication technician for 30 years until his retirement.

On February 14, 1980 he married Marjorie Auten.  She survives at the home.

Freddy was a musician who played drums, guitar, bass, and also was a singer.  Music was his life.  He was also very involved with HAM Radio and his call sign was K0LND.

Freddy is survived by his wife Marjorie Storer of the home in Offerle, Kansas; one son, Brian Storer and wife DeAnna of Las Vegas, Nevada and one daughter, Aleta Rose of Wichita, Kansas;  one sister, Linda Pape and husband Galen of Derby, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Eddy Storer.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial graveside service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan with Pastor Mark Davis of the First Baptist Church of Sedan.  Inurnment will follow.
